What is the Uncovered Word Ministries?
“But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God.” (2Corinthians 4:2)
The Uncovered Word Ministries is dedicated to bringing the true and correct word of God to all people in all parts of the world. Many organizations, ministries, preachers, and charlatans, claim to do just that. However, it is imperative that we understand what is meant by the Word of God and the Truth that he has given to us. Our mission is centered on doing just that.
The Bible was written between 2 and 4 thousand years ago, and as such interpretation is required for correct understanding. Unfortunately, what has occurred over centuries has not been understanding based on the original context and meaning, but rather based on the needs, wants, and attitudes of the people who were translating it. As such, what has transgressed into the fundamental and accepted beliefs of modern day Christianity is far and away removed from its original intent. You might say that Biblical truth has been hidden by centuries of individual interpretation and personal accumulation. Hence our mission: to remove (uncover) the myriad of falsities, half-truths, wrong beliefs, and simply incorrect information that surrounds God, our beliefs, and Christian practices of today.
To do this one must often change the mindset that has been created towards the Bible and its truths. Yes, in some instances it means completely rebuilding your ideological foundation associated with living in Christ. Some people find this incredibly difficult to do and often rebuke our teachings. Yet the rewards are twofold glorious in comparison. Living within the Word as its original intent was given by God offers the believer hope, comfort, and happiness that cannot be compared to what is so often experienced by mainstream theologies.
We at The Uncovered Word are dedicated to bringing this rightful understanding of scripture to the people. Salvation is given by the grace of God and should be understood as originally spoken. Falling short of knowing the good news that God gave us is a loss that we may never recover from. Come join us as we explore and begin to truly understand the Good News that can only be gotten by the true and uncovered Word of God and with it find the unfathomable joy that resounds within the Body of Christ.
